Flag Tennessee Tech University's Human-Powered Submarine Club is open to all TTU students, faculty, and alumni. Members need not be SCUBA certified, but certification is required for submarine members who would like to navigate or propel the submarine (if you plan on joining the club, you may want to enroll in TTU's SCUBA course and get P.E. credit too). Tennessee Tech students have attended all four of the International Submarine Races (ISR) which have been held biennually since 1989.
