First U.S. Brazilian Dive Club , based in Providence, Rhode Island, was formed in 1995 with the objective of informing Brazilians of dive activities in the United States plus informing Americans of dive sites in Brazil. The club intends to help the Portuguese-speaking community and make Portuguese dive literature more available. They also keep record and update of what is going on in the dive industry in Brazil and the United States. They have approximately 120 members all over the U.S. and publish a newsletter every month./
