FlagThe Minnesota Manatees is an open dive club that enjoys recreational diving but also does some 'for hire' diving. The club has also become very involved with local law enforcement for rescue and recovery diving.

Flag Minnesota's Historic Shipwrecks are not limited to shipwrecks or to Lake Superior. They include the remains of ancient Indian camps that were built on now-inundated shorelines of Lake Superior and the interior lakes. Water levels have fluctuated greatly due to climatic changes, geological processes, and human interference. More recent features such as docking structures, navigation aids, and other port facilities are also present beneath the water. All of these resources can potentially tell us something about the past and add excitement to diving excursions.

Flag Scuba Diving in Winona, Minnesota provides an overview of diving in the area, including detailed descriptions of several dive sites, course schedules and info on training at the local YMCA and more. This page is maintained by Russ Marsolek, who's also the Y's PADI Instructor.

Flag Smith Diving of Minneapolis, Minnesota, offers several levels of certification courses at our dive shop, including the beginning NAUI Scuba Diver Course, Advanced Scuba Diver, and Certified Master Scuba Diver. Smith Diving also offers both local and tropical dive travel. Their "Discover Minnesota" program offers regular weekend excursions scheduled to dive locations such as the Crosby Mines, Lake Superior, and Lake Mille Lacs.
