Diving off the Isle Of Man is done in the south of the island as the top 1/3rd of the island is glacial sand and therefore stirs-up easily whereas the southern 2/3rds is rock. There is some spectacular diving around the Calf of Man which is only accessible by boat, but it is also advisable to check charts and tidal streams very carefully around this area as there are some rather dramatic currents and drop offs to thrill even the calmest and coolest of divers! The majority of the area around the Calf is perfectly safe with scenery more likened to the Red Sea and a very popular area for the common seal. Check out this page to find out more.
